1. AI & Automation Solutions Engineer

   • Design and deliver end-to-end AI and automation solutions from process analysis and architecture through implementation, deployment and operational optimisation.
   • Trained custom object-detection models on annotated image and video datasets and implemented real-time inference with configurable confidence thresholds.
   • Built Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI retrieval workflows using embeddings, RAG, hybrid search and function calling, integrated through Python and .NET APIs.
   • Designed and deployed production platforms using Next.js, TypeScript, Directus and PostgreSQL, including secure portals, administrative workflows, media processing and email automation.
   • Established reusable technical foundations, documentation and human-in-the-loop controls so solutions can be maintained and extended by other developers.

2. Automation Engineer - AI & Agentic Workflows

   • Designed and built a reusable internal agentic engineering toolkit from scratch, using specialised sub-agents, shared skills, orchestration and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
   • Integrated Azure-hosted and custom model deployments into engineering workflows for structured analysis, code generation and pipeline automation.
   • Defined reusable architecture, development conventions and shared components that reduced duplicated implementation work and improved consistency across projects.
   • Enabled colleagues to adopt and extend AI-assisted workflows through reusable patterns, documentation and shared tooling.

   • Designed a reusable C# automation framework that replaced legacy record-and-replay tooling with maintainable, component-based architecture.

   • Built a configurable application that reduced the time required to calculate employee working hours from almost a full working day to seconds, while allowing business users to update calculation rules without code changes.
